Kitchen Remodeling in Fort Worth, TX
One crew, one project manager, one price agreed before anything comes out. Kitchens mainly, plus bathrooms, whole-house work and commercial interiors.
A Fort Worth remodeler that gives you the number before the demolition
Most remodels go wrong in the gaps, between the drawing and the build, between one trade leaving and the next turning up. We run design and construction under one contract, so those gaps are ours to manage and not yours to referee. You get a written scope, a fixed price, a schedule you can plan around, and one person to call.
Find out what your project costs before you commit to it
We come out anywhere in Fort Worth or Tarrant County, measure properly, and follow up with a fixed price in writing.
Kitchen Remodeling in Fort Worth, TX
New cabinets and countertops through to taking the wall out and starting again. Same process either way: survey, drawings, fixed price, one crew.
What a Fort Worth kitchen actually costs and why
Three things drive the number, in this order: whether the layout changes, what the cabinets are, and what the countertops are. Appliances and tile move it far less than people expect.
North Texas clay is the local variable. It moves, most slabs here have moved a little, and how much decides whether a wall comes out cleanly or needs work first. We check it on the first visit, because finding out in week two is what turns a fixed price into a conversation.
Where our Fort Worth jobs usually start
Nearly all of them look like one of these:
- The cabinets are sound. Good boxes, workable layout, tired doors and tops. Reface and re-top it and you have a new kitchen without a gut. We will say so if that is what you need.
- The wall needs to come out. Tanglewood and Overton Park ranch houses, kitchen closed off from the den. Beam it, move what was inside it, build around an island.
- Historic district house. Fairmount, Ryan Place, Berkeley Place. Inside is generally yours; the street elevation is reviewed. We check the block before we draw.
New custom cabinetry, refacing and refinishing. The biggest line in any kitchen budget.
Quartz, granite, quartzite, marble and porcelain, templated, fabricated and fitted.
Layout drawings, 3D views and material selections, then the same team builds it.
Custom inset cabinetry, natural stone, panel-ready appliances and architectural millwork.
Adding, enlarging or rebuilding an island, including the plumbing and electrical behind it.
Galley and apartment kitchens, layout, storage and light in a room that can't grow.
Built-in grills, weatherproof cabinetry and stone that survives a Texas summer.
Cosmetic work doesn't need a permit. Cabinets, countertops, backsplash, flooring, paint and swapping a fixture for a like-for-like fixture are all fine as-is.
You do need a permit, and we pull it, when the project involves:
- Removing or altering a wall, load-bearing or not
- Moving or adding plumbing supply and drain lines
- New electrical circuits, a panel change, or moving the range circuit
- Gas line work of any kind
- Changing or adding a window or exterior door
- Adding or relocating a range hood that vents outside
We handle the application, the drawings, and the inspection scheduling with the City of Fort Worth. It's built into the timeline we give you, not an afterthought that stalls the job. Working without a permit on structural or gas work is a problem you inherit at resale, when the buyer's inspector asks for paperwork that doesn't exist.
The honest answer is that the build is the short part. Design, selections and lead times take longer than the construction does, and that's the phase people are surprised by.
| Phase | Typical duration | What's happening |
|---|---|---|
| Consultation & measure | 1 week | Site visit, measurements, budget conversation |
| Design & selections | 3 – 6 weeks | Layout drawings, 3D views, cabinet and stone selections, final scope |
| Ordering & lead time | 4 – 10 weeks | Cabinetry built, appliances secured, tile and fixtures delivered |
| Demo & rough-in | 1 – 2 weeks | Tear-out, framing, plumbing, electrical, inspections |
| Install | 3 – 5 weeks | Cabinets set, stone templated and fitted, tile, flooring, paint |
| Finish & walkthrough | 1 week | Appliances, hardware, punch list, final clean |
Custom cabinetry is almost always the long pole. If your timeline is tight, tell us on day one. There are real ways to compress it, and choosing the cabinet line early is the biggest one.

Plenty of firms will take the job anyway and find the difference in change orders. We would rather lose the work than hand back something that looks cheap because it was.
A small firm, on purpose
We run a handful of jobs at once rather than as many as we can staff. That is the reason we turn up when we said we would.
- Few jobs, properly Taking on more would mean sending people you have not met.
- The owner is on site Not as a courtesy visit. As someone who will notice a bad joint.
- We turn work down If the schedule is full we say so rather than booking you and slipping.
One project manager, one contract, one price
Design and construction under one roof, so there are no hand-offs to fall through.
One team, five steps, no surprises
There is no clever version of this. You look at the house, you draw it, you price it, you build it, you finish it properly. Most problems come from skipping one of those.
01
Come look at it
We come out, measure, and go through what you want and what the house will take. No charge.
02
Draw it
Plans, elevations, a materials list. You approve the room on paper before we build it.
03
Price it
Line by line, fixed, in writing, with a schedule attached. You know the number before anything moves.
04
Build it
One crew. Floors covered, dust walls up, site swept daily, and a project manager who answers the phone.
05
Finish it
We walk it with you, list what isn't right, put it right, and invoice the balance after.

Areas we serve across Fort Worth & Tarrant County
We're based in Fort Worth and run projects throughout Tarrant County. Below is where we work, and what tends to be different about remodeling in each.
Where your house is changes the project more than most people expect. The permitting authority is different in the Park Cities and in each suburb. Conservation and historic districts restrict what can change. Condo and townhome buildings add a management approval that often takes longer than the city does. And the housing stock itself, 1960s ranch, pre-war Tudor, new-build, decides whether your kitchen needs a structural change or just a good layout.
Fort Worth sits on the same expansive black clay as the rest of North Texas, which means slab movement is a normal part of the survey rather than a red flag, but it does decide whether a wall can come out cleanly. The city also has one of the largest historic districts in the southwestern United States in Fairmount, along with Ryan Place, Berkeley Place and Mistletoe Heights, where exterior alterations are reviewed and interior kitchen work generally is not. West of the river, Westover Hills is its own municipality with its own permit office. And north of the loop, the Alliance corridor is almost entirely post-2000 construction where the layout already works and the job is cabinetry, stone and lighting.
